QA Automation Engineer

About the Role

Quality is at the core of what we do. We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to take our testing processes to the next level. You will design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for our web applications and APIs. You will work closely with developers to identify issues early in the development cycle and ensure that every release meets our high standards. This role requires a mix of coding skills and a tester's mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts for web applications (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Execute automated and manual tests to identify defects.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and debug issues.
• Report and track bugs using Jira.
• Continuously improve test coverage and testing processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• Strong proficiency in a programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript).
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with API testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify).
• Performance testing experience (JMeter, k6).
• Security testing knowledge.
