Senior Frontend Developer

About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for bringing our designs to life. You will work on high-profile eCommerce stores, creating responsive, performant, and accessible user interfaces. You will work closely with our design and backend teams to deliver seamless digital experiences. We value developers who care about pixel perfection, performance optimization, and modern frontend practices. You will also mentor junior developers and help set frontend standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces for eCommerce websites.
• Implement designs with high fidelity using HTML, CSS (Tailwind/SASS), and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Work with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js) and eCommerce platforms (Adobe Commerce, Shopify Liquid).
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility compliance (WCAG).
• Collaborate with designers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong experience with React and/or Vue.js.
• Experience with CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with eCommerce frontend development (Magento frontend, Shopify themes, or PWA Studio).
• Understanding of server-side rendering (Next.js) and static site generation.
• Experience with build tools (Webpack, Vite).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Hyvä Themes for Magento.
• Knowledge of Headless Commerce architectures.
• Experience with TypeScript.
